Highlights:

  • Revenue grew about 6.4% in FY26, while PAT grew about 28% and EBITDA about 17.5%.
  • Margins have improved at both the EBITDA and PAT levels, and Q1 FY27 shows a further step up.
  • Growth in revenue is modest, so the profit growth is driven mostly by better margins.

Margins and growth rates are calculated from the reported figures. Net worth, debt, ROE and ROCE were not available in the sources I reviewed.

Strengths

  • Improving profitability. EBITDA margin rose from about 12% to about 15% between FY25 and Q1 FY27.
  • Specialised products. Custom-formulated compounds serve technical applications in cables and pipelines.
  • Diverse end markets. Power, telecom, railways, water, and oil and gas.
  • Customer base. More than 190 customers and export presence in several countries.
  • Capacity expansion. Proceeds will fund expansion of the Goa facility.
  • Fresh issue only. All the money goes to the company, and no existing shareholder is selling.
  • Retail-friendly allocation. 35% of the net issue is reserved for retail investors.

Risks

  • Slow revenue growth. Revenue rose about 6% in FY26, so growth depends on the planned capacity addition.
  • Raw material dependence. Polymer prices are linked to crude oil and petrochemical cycles, and can squeeze margins.
  • Single manufacturing location. Operations are concentrated at one facility in Goa.
  • Cyclical end markets. Demand depends on investment in power, telecom, railways and pipelines.
  • Competition. The compounds business has several domestic and global players.
  • Small company. With revenue of about ₹349 crore, it is exposed to the loss of large customers.
  • Working capital needs. Part of the proceeds funds working capital, which can signal capital-intensive operations.
  • Valuation risk. If the issue is priced richly against listed peers, there may be little room for upside.
