Pronto Raises $25 Mn Funding in Series B Led by Epiq Capital
Bengaluru-based home services startup Pronto has raised $25 million in a Series B funding round led by Epiq Capital, marking a significant milestone for the rapidly growing instant home services segment in India. Existing investors Glade Brook Capital, General Catalyst, and Bain Capital Ventures also participated in the round.
The funding values the startup at approximately $100 million post-money, highlighting strong investor confidence in Pronto’s business model and growth potential in India’s largely unorganised domestic services market.

The platform operates on a hyperlocal model, allowing users to book professionals within minutes through a mobile app.
Rapid Growth in the Home Services Market
Pronto’s growth trajectory has been impressive.
- Daily bookings increased from about 1,000 to over 18,000 within seven months
- The platform is expanding across 10 cities in India
- The company works with around 3,000–4,500 professionals on its platform
The startup is growing at more than 20% week-on-week, demonstrating strong consumer demand for instant home services.
How Pronto Plans to Use the Fresh Capital
The newly raised $25 million will be used to accelerate expansion and strengthen operations.
Key focus areas include:
- Hiring and training more service professionals
- Expanding services across additional cities
- Improving operational infrastructure
- Building stronger supply networks
- Expanding service categories
The capital also gives the startup over two years of financial runway to scale operations.
The Opportunity in India’s Domestic Services Market
India’s domestic services industry remains largely informal and unstructured, relying heavily on referrals and word-of-mouth networks.
Pronto aims to formalise this sector by providing:
- Verified professionals
- Structured shifts and stable income for workers
- Reliable service availability for households
According to the company, over 99% of the domestic help market remains offline, representing a huge opportunity for digital platforms to scale.
Competition in the Instant Home Services Segment
The segment is becoming increasingly competitive as startups try to replicate the quick-commerce model in services.
Major competitors include:
- Urban Company’s instant services
- Snabbit (another fast-growing home services startup)
These companies are building hyperlocal supply networks to deliver services within minutes.
