Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Q4 Results: Dividend ₹25.50/Share Declared
Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC reported an 18% year-on-year drop in Q4 FY26 net profit to ₹187 crore, primarily due to a sharp decline in other income. Despite the profit miss, the company announced a final dividend of ₹25.50 per share and showed 6.8% growth in core revenue.
Q4 FY26 performance breakdown
The asset management company's profit after tax fell to ₹187 crore from ₹228 crore in Q4 FY25. Revenue from core operations rose 6.8% to ₹458 crore from ₹428 crore a year earlier, showing resilience in the main business.
The key drag came from other income, which swung to a loss of ₹32.86 crore from a gain of ₹71.96 crore in the year-ago quarter. Total income consequently dropped, impacting overall profitability. Earnings per share declined to ₹6.48 from ₹7.91.
Final dividend details
The board recommended a final dividend of ₹25.50 per equity share (face value ₹5) for FY26, subject to shareholder approval at the AGM. This represents a 510% dividend on the face value and continues the company's shareholder-friendly approach.
For FY26, the full-year profit after tax rose 5% to ₹975.1 crore, supporting the dividend payout despite quarterly volatility.
Market reaction and outlook
Shares of Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC traded higher after the results, reflecting investor focus on the dividend and core business growth. The results highlight the strength of AUM growth and fee income in the asset management sector, even as non-core items create earnings swings.
