Board of Star Cement defers fund raise of up to Rs 1,500 cr

The board of Star Cement at its meeting held on 06 November 2026 has approved to defer the proposed fund raise of up to Rs 1,500 crore by way of further issue of securities due to prevailing geopolitical situation, the conditions in the capital markets and the capital expenditure requirements of the Company. The company would continue to fund the company's projects currently in the pipeline through internal accruals and/or bank borrowings as may be required.
