Economic Buzz: UK annual house prices drop 1.2% in October

House prices in the United Kingdom decreased by 1.2% in October compared to the same month in 2025, the Lloyds House Price Index report published on Friday showed. The reading marks the biggest annual decline in house prices since October 2023.

On a monthly basis, housing prices fell 0.6% in October, with the average price standing at ?2896,285. Compared to the previous trimester, house prices in the UK were down 0.5%.
