Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd soars 2.87%, up for fifth straight session

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd gained for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 3217.3, up 2.87% on the day as on 12:39 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.64% on the day, quoting at 24694.55. The Sensex is at 80064.14, up 0.95%. Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd has risen around 14.9% in last one month.

Meanwhile, Nifty Auto index of which Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd is a constituent, has risen around 9.19% in last one month and is currently quoting at 27601.75, down 0.56% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 61.41 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 26.5 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark November futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 3230, up 3.31% on the day. Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd is down 12.82% in last one year as compared to a 3.13% drop in NIFTY and a 2.5% drop in the Nifty Auto index.

The PE of the stock is 23.62 based on TTM earnings ending June 26.
