05-Nov-2026 | 10:23
Australia posted a trade surplus in September, with the figure reaching 2.826 million Australian dollars (~$1.99 billion), according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics' report on Thursday.
The result went down from August's 495 million Australian-dollar surplus.
Exports increased 2.3%, driven by other mineral fuels and metals, while imports decreased 3.3%, mainly due to non-monetary gold and civil aircraft and confidentialised items.
