ABB India Ltd gains for third consecutive session

ABB India Ltd gained for a third straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 6710, up 1.59% on the day as on 12:49 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.02% on the day, quoting at 23816.5. The Sensex is at 76935.59, up 0.02%. ABB India Ltd has slipped around 2.68% in last one month.

Meanwhile, Nifty Energy index of which ABB India Ltd is a constituent, has slipped around 0.47% in last one month and is currently quoting at 36290.7, up 1.32% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 1.14 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 2.71 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark November futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 6734, up 1.96% on the day. ABB India Ltd is up 28.35% in last one year as compared to a 6.64% drop in NIFTY and a 2.59% drop in the Nifty Energy index.

The PE of the stock is 90.48 based on TTM earnings ending June 26.
