Adani Power Ltd spurts 2.54%, up for third straight session

Adani Power Ltd rose for a third straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 200.47, up 2.54% on the day as on 12:49 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.02% on the day, quoting at 23816.5. The Sensex is at 76935.59, up 0.02%. Adani Power Ltd has dropped around 0.26% in last one month.

Meanwhile, Nifty Energy index of which Adani Power Ltd is a constituent, has dropped around 0.47% in last one month and is currently quoting at 36290.7, up 1.32% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 146.46 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 210.46 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark November futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 200.75, up 2.68% on the day. Adani Power Ltd is up 30.88% in last one year as compared to a 6.64% fall in NIFTY and a 2.59% fall in the Nifty Energy index.

The PE of the stock is 24.12 based on TTM earnings ending September 26.
