Petronet LNG Ltd spurts 2.08%, up for five straight sessions

Petronet LNG Ltd rose for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 309.3, up 2.08% on the day as on 12:39 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.01% on the day, quoting at 23813.75. The Sensex is at 76963.8, up 0.06%. Petronet LNG Ltd has added around 6.66% in last one month.

Meanwhile, Nifty Energy index of which Petronet LNG Ltd is a constituent, has added around 0.48% in last one month and is currently quoting at 36290.7, up 1.33% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 21.18 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 26.31 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark November futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 309.9, up 1.77% on the day. Petronet LNG Ltd is up 12.47% in last one year as compared to a 6.65% fall in NIFTY and a 2.6% fall in the Nifty Energy index.

The PE of the stock is 11.03 based on TTM earnings ending June 26.
