Economic Buzz: US manufacturing activity slows down in October

Growth of manufacturing activity in the United States slowed down in October compared with the month before, with the sector remaining above the 50.0 mark but falling from September, S&P Global said in its report published on Monday.

The seasonally adjusted Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) declined to 54.9, from 55.6 in September, with production and new orders increasing but a slower pace.
