Borana Weaves announces delay in commissioning of 9.9MW hybrid power project

Borana Weaves announced about the delay in commissioning of the 9.9 MW Hybrid Power Project at Kalikanagar, Gujarat.

As per the latest communication received from Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions, the project developer, the commissioning schedule has been further revised. The first WTG location along with the 7.65 MW solar component is now tentatively expected to be commissioned before 30 November 2026, the second WTG location by 31 December 2026, and the third WTG location by 31 March 2027.

The further delay is due to factors beyond the control of the Company/project developer, including high wind speeds, heavy monsoon conditions resulting in additional logistics-road work, and delays in obtaining the required shutdowns of existing 33 kV and 11 kV lines for the 33 kV transmission-line work.
