The activity in the Eurozone's manufacturing sector slowed slightly in October, according to a report released by S&P Global on Monday. The Eurozone Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) stood at 52.7, marking a decline from 52.9 recorded in September. The figure remained in the expansion territory for the ninth consecutive month.

The Eurozone Manufacturing PMI Output Index (PMI) landed at 52.8 in the reported month, down from 53.6 in September. The report showed that a mild upturn in production recorded in October came amid a slowdown in overall sales growth. The survey also pointed to a rapid acceleration in cost pressures, as input prices rose at the fastest pace since May.
