Tata Motors PV gains after total sales jumps 23% YoY to 75,426 units in Oct'26

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles added 2.85% to Rs 272.75 after the company?s total sales climbed 23% to 75,426 units in October 2026 compared with 61,295 units in October 2025.
Passenger vehicles (PV) domestic sales stood at 73,894 units, up 21% as against 61,134 units in October 2025.
PV international business (IB) sales surged 852% to 1,532 units in October 2026 compared with 161 units in October 2025.
Electric Vehicles (EV) IB and domestic sales jumped 75% to 16,244 units in October 2026 compared with 9,286 units in October 2025.

The company reported a sharp 80.25% decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 775 crore in Q1 FY27 compared with Rs 3,924 crore posted in Q1 FY26. Revenue from operations increased 9.26% YoY to Rs 95,799 crore in the quarter ended 30th June 2026.
