Kilburn Engineering today announced that its Board of Directors has approved a strategic capital investment of up to Rs 25 crore to expand the precision engineering and manufacturing capabilities of its subsidiary, Monga Strayfield, at its Pune facility.

The proposed investment is aimed at substantially enhancing the business's precision engineering and manufacturing capabilities for enclosures, cabinets and assemblies serving data centre infrastructure, transformers and critical power applications. The capacity expansion is planned to be implemented progressively over the next six to nine months, with commissioning and utilisation aligned to operational readiness and customer requirements.

The Group's precision engineering business is currently expected to generate revenue of approximately Rs 50-60 crore during FY2026-27. Based on the envisaged product mix, utilisation levels and a combination of in-house manufacturing and selective outsourcing, the expanded operations are estimated to have the potential to support annual revenue of approximately Rs 150 crore at scale. The pace of revenue growth will be aligned with customer requirements and the progressive ramp-up of manufacturing operations.
