MCX Evening Update: Bullion futures under stress, Silver tanks around 2%

Gold and Silver tumbled today after US personal consumption expenditure showed acceleration in inflation pressures and GDP firmed up impressively. Gold is down 0.26% at $4042 per ounce while Silver has melted 2% at $52.66 per ounce. MCX Gold shed 0.44% at Rs 143077 per 10 grams while Silver has lost 1.75% at Rs 190391 per kg.
