Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index rises 2.75%, NIFTY jumps 1.05%

Nifty Realty index closed up 2.75% at 819.8 today. The index is down 2.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, DLF Ltd gained 4.21%, Lodha Developers Ltd rose 3.84% and Phoenix Mills Ltd added 3.72%. The Nifty Realty index is down 14.00% over last one year compared to the 11.96% decline in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty FMCG index added 2.34% and Nifty PSU Bank index increased 2.20% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 increased 1.05% to close at 22936.75 while the SENSEX added 1.24% to close at 74151.04 today.
