Bank of India gains for third straight session

Bank of India gained for a third straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 135, up 1.58% on the day as on 12:49 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.52% on the day, quoting at 22815.85. The Sensex is at 73708.75, up 0.63%. Bank of India has gained around 3.65% in last one month.

Meanwhile, Nifty PSU Bank index of which Bank of India is a constituent, has gained around 2.33% in last one month and is currently quoting at 8133.6, up 0.85% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 47.57 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 88.96 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark November futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 135.52, up 1.82% on the day. Bank of India is down 2.77% in last one year as compared to a 11.83% slide in NIFTY and a 1.79% slide in the Nifty PSU Bank index.

The PE of the stock is 5.04 based on TTM earnings ending September 26.
