Board of DCM Shriram approves setting up solar power plant at Kota complex

The board of DCM Shriram at its meeting held on 26 October 2026 has approved capital expenditure of upto Rs 145 crore towards installation of Solar Power Plant at Kota complex of the Company to meet the power requirement of its Vinyl Plant. This will enable the Company to meet its power requirement of upto 8 MW in cost effective manner, which is being presently met through grid power, where the cost per unit is high as compared to solar power.
