Board of Ather Energy approves capex of Rs 122 cr for capacity expansion

The board of Ather Energy at its meeting held on 26 October 2026 has approved proposals for the enhancement of manufacturing capacity at the Company's factories located at Hosur, Tamil Nadu and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra (Factory 3.0- under construction). Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) of approximately Rs 122 crore (including taxes) has been earmarked for the said expansion.

The proposed expansion will increase the annual production capacity of electric two-wheelers at the Hosur factory from 420,000 units to 495,000 units, and the planned annual production capacity of Factory 3.0 from 500,000 units to 650,000 units.
