Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd drops for fifth straight session

Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd fell for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 430.55, down 1.48% on the day as on 13:19 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is down around 1.24% on the day, quoting at 22406.15. The Sensex is at 72534.84, down 0.98%.Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd has gained around 6.31% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty Bank index of which Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd is a constituent, has eased around 2.61% in last one month and is currently quoting at 54925.7, down 1.7% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 103.32 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 266.7 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark October futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 430.05, down 1.64% on the day. Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd tumbled 1.57% in last one year as compared to a 13.14% slide in NIFTY and a 6.43% fall in the Nifty Bank index.

The PE of the stock is 29.31 based on TTM earnings ending June 26.
