Economic Buzz: German business activity at two-month low in October

Activity in Germany's private sector continued to grow in October, but at a slower pace than in September, with the Flash Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) Composite Output Index going from 53.8 to its two-month low of 52.8, S&P Global said in its preliminary report released on Friday.

The Flash Services PMI Business Activity Index went from September's 52.9 to 51.7, another two-month low. The Flash Manufacturing Output Index declined from 56 to the three-month low of 55.1. On the other hand, the Flash Manufacturing PMI rose from 53.9 to its two-month high of 54.2.
