Petronet LNG to form JV with Gruner Renewable Energy

For setting up CBG plants in India

Petronet LNG has signed a binding term sheet on 22 October 2026 for formation of 50:50 joint venture with Gruner Renewable Energy for setting up Compressed Bio Gas (CBG) plants in various states of India.

The joint venture will establish 10 CBG plants each of 18 MT per day capacity across the country with an estimated capital outlay of Rs. 1,200 crore.
