Fujiyama Power Systems rose 3.52% to Rs 369.10 after the company clarified that China's proposed restrictions on exports of solar cell manufacturing technology and machinery are unlikely to have any material impact on its planned capacity expansion.
The company stated that all machinery and equipment required for its upcoming 1.2 GW Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) solar cell manufacturing facility have already been delivered to its plant in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh.

Consequently, the company does not anticipate any material impact from the proposed restrictions on the capital expenditure or implementation timeline of the project. The facility remains on track for commissioning in the first quarter of FY28 (Q1 FY 2027-28), as originally scheduled.

The clarification follows recent media reports concerning China's proposed restrictions on the export of technologies and machinery used in solar cell manufacturing.

The company further stated that it has not announced any plans to establish additional solar cell manufacturing capacity at this stage.

Fujiyama Power Systems operates in the retail-focused rooftop solar segment, manufacturing and supplying Solar Power Generation Systems (SPGS), including solar inverters, batteries and panels. Solar panel manufacturing is a backward integration of this business, and solar cell manufacturing is a further backward integration for solar panel manufacturing. The company also clarified that its operations are not dependent on any ongoing foreign technology transfer and remain fully unaffected.

Fujiyama Power Systems is a rooftop solar solutions provider offering an extensive portfolio across solar panels, inverters, lithium and tubular batteries, chargers and power-electronics systems. The company?s consolidated net profit declined 14.50% to Rs 57.79 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with Rs 67.59 crore in Q1 FY26. Net sales surged 125.28% YoY to Rs 1,345.69 crore in Q1 FY27.
