Adani Green Energy Ltd slips for fifth straight session

Adani Green Energy Ltd dropped for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 1249.7, down 0.7% on the day as on 13:19 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is down around 0.68% on the day, quoting at 22656.5. The Sensex is at 73278.46, down 0.59%.Adani Green Energy Ltd has lost around 3.94% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty Energy index of which Adani Green Energy Ltd is a constituent, has eased around 7.16% in last one month and is currently quoting at 35474.75, down 1.18% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 13.44 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 23.61 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark October futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 1248, down 0.74% on the day. Adani Green Energy Ltd jumped 19.62% in last one year as compared to a 12.49% slide in NIFTY and a 1.58% fall in the Nifty Energy index.

The PE of the stock is 303.04 based on TTM earnings ending June 26.
