Diamond Power Infrastructure to add new CCV line at its Vadodara plant

Diamond Power Infrastructure will add another Catenary Continuous Vulcanizations (CCV) line at its Vadodara plant. The line can manufacture XLPE-insulated power cables up to 132 kV.

The machinery is scheduled for delivery by August 2027, and the line is targeted for commissioning by 31 December 2027.

With this addition, DICABS will operate Six CCV lines LO & Five Silane Lines at its 130-acre single-location plant. The expansion will add meaningful high-voltage and extra-high voltage capacity. It comes as demand grows for underground cabling from state utilities, transmission developers, renewable energy parks and data centers.
