Commodities Buzz: Silver net speculative long positions ease slightly

Precious metals speculators slight cut their net long positions in the Silver futures markets last week after recent declines, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of Silver futures, traded by large speculators, hedge funds and retailers, totaled a net position of 22631 contracts in the data reported through October 13, 2026. This was a weekly fall of 522 net contracts and kept net longs at one-month low.
