Bank credit growth records spike of 19.30% on year

The bank credit growth in India continues to stay elevated. As per the latest data released by the Reserve Bank of India, total bank credit from All Scheduled Banks stood at Rs 235 lakh crore as of 30 September 2026, soaring around 19.30% on year. It rose 3% on fortnightly basis.
