Punjab National Bank Spurts 4.61%
Punjab National Bank gained 4.61% today to trade at Rs 121.45. The BSE BANKEX index is up 0.36% to quote at 62995.09. The index is down 0.82 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Canara Bank increased 1.14% and Union Bank of India added 1.08% on the day. The BSE BANKEX index went down 3.17 % over last one year compared to the 10.84% fall in benchmark SENSEX.
Punjab National Bank has added 3.63% over last one month compared to 0.82% fall in BSE BANKEX index and 0.75% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 2.26 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 5.9 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 135.15 on 19 Jan 2026. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 98.5 on 18 May 2026.
