TVS Srichakra announces capex of Rs 49 cr for capacity addition

TVS Srichakra will be making additional capital expenditure of Rs. 49.20 crore to undertake line balancing and debottlenecking initiatives including argumentation of curing capacity at its Madurai (Tamil Nadu) and Uttarakhand manufacturing facilities.

The existing manufacturing capacity is 340-350 lakh tyres per annum with capacity utilisation of 85-90%. The company proposes to add 6-7% capacity with this outlay.
