Datamatics Global Services appoints Dr. Rajesh Gharpure as President & Chief Operating Officer

Datamatics Global Services announced the appointment of Dr. Rajesh Gharpure as President & Chief Operating Officer (COO). Reporting to Rahul Kanodia, Vice Chairman & CEO, Dr. Rajesh will lead key business units and corporate functions, strengthening Datamatics' strategic focus on AI-led services, profitable growth, and operational excellence.

In his new role, he will oversee Digital Technologies, Digital Operations & Experiences, AI Consulting, Solutions & Presales, Corporate Quality, and IT Operations. His appointment comes at a pivotal time as Datamatics sharpens its focus on embedding Artificial Intelligence across its service offerings, accelerating AI-led transformation, and scaling solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes. His leadership will help strengthen synergies across all business units, enhance execution, and deliver exceptional customer value.

Prior to joining Datamatics, Dr. Rajesh served as Chief Delivery Officer at Persistent Systems, where he led the Technology Services organization. He played a key role in driving growth, improving margins, scaling managed services, and integrating multiple business units.

Earlier, he spent over two decades at L&T Infotech (LTI), now LTM, as Executive Vice President & Global Delivery Head and a member of its Management Council. He managed a portfolio across Manufacturing, Automotive, and Energy, serving global customers.
