Commodities Buzz: EIA weekly Natural Gas inventories up 67 BCF

Working gas in storage was 3,567 Bcf as of Friday, October 9, 2026, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 67 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 143 Bcf less than last year at this time and 45 Bcf above the five-year average of 3,522 Bcf. At 3,567 Bcf, total working gas is within the five-year historical range.
