Reliance Industries Ltd slips for fifth straight session

Reliance Industries Ltd is down for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 1157.6, down 0.11% on the day as on 13:19 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.81% on the day, quoting at 22544.1. The Sensex is at 72476.43, up 0.77%.Reliance Industries Ltd has lost around 6.29% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty Energy index of which Reliance Industries Ltd is a constituent, has eased around 4.07% in last one month and is currently quoting at 35857.15, down 0.62% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 74.08 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 134.33 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark October futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 1163, up 0.24% on the day. Reliance Industries Ltd tumbled 15.87% in last one year as compared to a 10.35% slide in NIFTY and a 1.62% spurt in the Nifty Energy index.

The PE of the stock is 39.99 based on TTM earnings ending June 26.
