Power Grid acquires Lakadia C Power Transmission

Power Grid Corporation of India, pursuant to its selection as the successful bidder under Tariff based competitive bidding, has on 12 October 2026 acquired Lakadia C Power Transmission, the Project SPV to establish Inter-State Transmission system for the project namely ?Common Transmission System for evacuation of power from Lakadia (Phase-ll: 7.5GW), Jam Khambhaliya (Phase-II: 5.5GW) and Jamnagar (Phase-I: 1GW) - Part-C?, on build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis from the Bid Process Coordinator ? PFC Consulting (PFCCL).
