MCX Evening Update: Precious metals slide, Gold dips more than 1%

Precious metals turned lower on MCX today. MCX Gold opened in red and saw continued declines to currently trade at Rs 149743 per 10 grams, down 1.16% on the day amid a sharp increase in open interest. MCX Silver is also down 0.87% at Rs 223800 per kg.
