Precious Metals Preview: Gold and silver futures extend upside amid pullback in oil prices

COMEX gold and silver futures extends upside on Monday morning in Asia as dollar lingers below 102 mark following sharp gains in the previous week. Easing oil prices are also seen supporting the precious metals. Meanwhile, key US inflation data this week that could offer fresh clues on the Federal Reserve?s (Fed) next interest rate move is keenly awaited. The US Consumer Price Index (CPI) report will be published on Wednesday, followed by the Producer Price Index (PPI) and Retail Sales data on Thursday.
