CSM to develop centralised digital platform for TradeMark Africa

CSM Tech, wholly owned subsidiary of CSM Technologies, has secured a US$174,000 (approximately Rs 1.65 crore) mandate from TradeMark Africa (TMA) for the design, development and deployment of the Mozambique Transport and Trade Observatory (TTO) for the Beira Corridor.

The project will be executed by CSM Tech, and will create a centralised digital platform to provide corridor authorities and stakeholders with near real-time visibility into cargo movement, transport performance, delays, bottlenecks and other trade indicators.

The Beira Corridor is a strategic trade route connecting the Port of Beira in Mozambique with Zimbabwe and extending trade links to Malawi, Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). It is particularly important for land-linked economies that depend on efficient access to regional and international markets.
