MCX Evening Update: Precious metals rise, Silver up 1.70%

MCX Gold futures are trading in an upbeat manner and is currently up 1% at Rs 151135 per 10 grams. The counter hit Rs 151700 mark before turning lower. MCX Silver has zoomed up impressively and is up 1.70% at Rs 224999 per kg in volatile trades. It tested a low near Rs 221200 per kg and has witnessed a modest drop in open interest.
