IRCON secures Rs 96-cr contract from Konkan Railway

IRCON International received a Rs 96.25-crore contract from Konkan Railway for 5-year maintenance of the Integrated Tunnel Communication System in the Katra-Banihal section of Northern Railway.

IRCON International is a public sector construction company with an emphasis on infrastructure projects, with a specialization in the execution of railway projects on a turnkey basis and otherwise. After commencing business as a railway construction company, it diversified progressively to roads, buildings, electrical substations and distribution, airport construction, and commercial complexes, as well as metro rail works.

IRCON International's consolidated net profit tanked 43.64% to Rs 92.74 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 164.56 crore reported in Q1 FY26. Revenue from operations rose 9.49% to Rs 1,955.83 crore in the quarter ended 30 June 2026.

Shares of IRCON International rose 1.55% to close at Rs 104.95 on the BSE.
