SML Mahindra gains after sales jumps 32% YoY in September

SML Mahindra advanced 1.87% to Rs 5,948 after the company reported a 31.9% year-on-year increase in commercial vehicle sales to 1,071 units in September 2026, compared with 812 units sold in the corresponding month last year.

Commercial vehicle production rose 19.83% year-on-year to 1,257 units in September 2026 from 1,049 units in September 2025.

However, exports declined 61.59% to 53 units in September 2026 from 138 units in September 2025.

SML Mahindra (formerly known as SML Isuzu) is primarily engaged in the business of the manufacture and sale of commercial vehicles and their parts.

The company?s standalone net profit declined 4.99% to Rs 63.62 crore in the quarter ended June 2026 as against Rs 66.96 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2025. Sales rose 13.20% to Rs 957.54 crore in the quarter ended June 2026 as against Rs 845.89 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2025.
