G M Breweries Q2 PAT climbs 13% YoY to Rs 39 cr

G M Breweries reported a 12.61% year-on-year (YoY) and 4.11% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) increase in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 39.29 crore in Q2 FY27.
Net sales, excluding VAT and excise duty, increased 18.28% YoY and 6.98% QoQ to Rs 213.52 crore during the quarter.

Profit before tax (PBT) rose 12.61% YoY and 4.12% QoQ to Rs 52.51 crore in Q2 FY27.

Cost of materials consumed increased 17.93% YoY and 6.01% QoQ to Rs 146.56 crore. Employee benefit expenses surged 861.54% YoY and 916.95% QoQ to Rs 30 crore during the quarter.

For the first half of FY27, consolidated net profit increased 26.8% to Rs 77.03 crore, compared with Rs 60.75 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year. Revenue from operations, excluding VAT and excise duty, rose 20.30% YoY to Rs 413.10 crore in H1 FY27.

G M Breweries is engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of alcoholic beverages, including country liquor (CL) and Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL). The company is the largest manufacturer of country liquor in Maharashtra, holding a significant share of the state?s market

The scrip declined 8.16% to Rs 905.70 on the BSE.
