Bajaj Auto Ltd drops for fifth straight session

Bajaj Auto Ltd fell for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 9701, down 1.85% on the day as on 13:19 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is down around 1.59% on the day, quoting at 22243.65. The Sensex is at 71582.18, down 1.45%.Bajaj Auto Ltd has eased around 17.72% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty Auto index of which Bajaj Auto Ltd is a constituent, has eased around 10.93% in last one month and is currently quoting at 25138.9, down 2.02% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 86304 shares today, compared to the daily average of 2.94 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark October futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 9716, down 1.53% on the day. Bajaj Auto Ltd jumped 10.11% in last one year as compared to a 11.67% slide in NIFTY and a 7.35% fall in the Nifty Auto index.

The PE of the stock is 25.26 based on TTM earnings ending June 26.
