BSE SME Omara Ventures India makes a measured debut
Omara Ventures India's IPO was subscribed 1.06 times. The IPO had opened for subscription on 30 September 2026 and closed on 5 October 2026. The issue price was fixed at Rs 296 to Rs 311 per share.
The fixed-price issue comprised a fresh issue of 13.50 lakh shares aggregating Rs 41.99 crore. There was no offer-for-sale (OFS) component.
The company proposes to utilise Rs 2 crore towards renovation and expansion of its jewellery boutique, Rs 2 crore towards marketing and promotional expenses, Rs 18 crore towards repayment or prepayment of borrowings, and Rs 10 crore towards long-term working capital requirements. The balance will be utilised for general corporate purposes.
Promoter and promoter group holding declined to 69.03% from 99.99% following the IPO.
Incorporated in October 2020, Omara Ventures India is a retail jewellery company engaged in the sale of diamond jewellery made using natural diamonds and precious and semi-precious gemstones set in gold, platinum and silver. The company operates under the brand name ?Omara? and primarily caters to business-to-consumer (B2C) customers through its retail boutique. The company offers necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets and other jewellery products across wedding, special occasion, festive and contemporary daily-wear categories.
As on 30 June 2026, the company had 17 employees across directors, key managerial personnel and senior management, accounts, sales and marketing, product and operations, and sales and operational support functions.
Omara Ventures India reported a 94.94% year-on-year increase in total income to Rs 45.87 crore in FY2026 from Rs 23.52 crore in FY2025. Profit after tax (PAT) surged 243.22% to Rs 9.37 crore from Rs 2.73 crore during the same period.
