NSE SME Eventions struggles to hold ground after listing

Eventions traded at Rs 105.45 on the NSE, a 10.64% discount to its issue price of Rs 118.
The scrip was listed at Rs 111, a 5.93% discount to the issue price. The stock is currently frozen at its lower limit of 5% from its listing price.

The counter hit a high of Rs 111 and a low of Rs 105.45. About 16.81 lakh shares changed hands on the NSE.

Eventions' IPO was subscribed 2.32 times. The price band was Rs 112-118 per share. The issue opened for subscription on 30 September 2026 and closed on 5 October 2026. The IPO comprised an entirely fresh issue of 32.30 lakh shares, aggregating to Rs 38.12 crore.

The promoter and promoter group holding declined to 73.46% after the IPO from 99.96% before the issue.

Eventions plans to use Rs 18.80 crore of the IPO proceeds to meet working capital requirements, Rs 7 crore for repayment or prepayment of certain borrowings and Rs 1.40 crore for investment in its subsidiary. The remaining proceeds are earmarked for general corporate purposes.

Eventions is engaged in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) and event management segment. The company provides planning, coordination and execution services for corporate events, conferences, incentive travel programmes, virtual events, Free Independent Travel (FIT) services and brand and marketing activations. It primarily operates through a B2B model and also provides execution support to other event management companies.

Eventions has executed events across India and international destinations in Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. During FY2024, FY2025 and FY2026, the company executed 107 events with individual billing values exceeding Rs 50 lakh and served more than 50 corporate clients. Its MICE segment contributed 91.29% of revenue from operations in FY2026, compared with 91.77% in FY2025 and 87.39% in FY2024. As of 31 March 2026, the company had 35 employees. The company's subsidiary, Gantu Online Private Limited, focuses on business-to-consumer travel and customised travel experiences.

The company's total income increased 14.31% to Rs 100.62 crore in FY2026 from Rs 88.02 crore in FY2025, while profit after tax (PAT) rose 50.49% to Rs 7.72 crore from Rs 5.13 crore. EBITDA increased 43.72% to Rs 10.19 crore from Rs 7.09 crore during the same period.
