Fino Payments Bank soars after Q2 avg total deposits climbs 13% YoY

Fino Payments Bank surged 14.92% to Rs 147.50 after the company?s average total deposits jumped 13% to Rs 2794 crore in Q2 FY27, compared with Rs 2,480 crore in Q2 FY26.
Loan referral disbursals surged 223% YoY to Rs 278 crore in September 2026 from Rs 86 crore a year ago. The bank said the growth in referral loan disbursals, along with sustained progress in its cash management services (CMS) segment, supported its business momentum.

The number of digitally active customers increased 13% YoY to 64.9 lakh, while FinoPay active customers rose 12% to 8.1 lakh. The bank?s current account and savings account (CASA) base increased to 1.91 crore.

CMS throughput rose 10% YoY to Rs 6,918 crore from Rs 6,281 crore. However, transaction business throughput declined 10% YoY to Rs 3,469 crore from Rs 3,866 crore.

The number of deposit accounts opened during the month declined 17% YoY to 2.45 lakh from 2.95 lakh.

The bank had reported a standalone net loss of Rs 13.72 crore in the quarter ended June 2026 as against net profit of Rs 17.76 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2025. Total operating income rose 18.43% to Rs 72.23 crore in Q1 FY27 over Q1 FY26.
