Hyundai Motor India Ltd eases for fifth straight session

Hyundai Motor India Ltd dropped for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 1946.9, down 2.12% on the day as on 13:19 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is down around 0.85% on the day, quoting at 22583.4. The Sensex is at 72582.88, down 0.66%.Hyundai Motor India Ltd has eased around 12.3% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty Auto index of which Hyundai Motor India Ltd is a constituent, has eased around 9.53% in last one month and is currently quoting at 25541.95, down 1.62% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 3.8 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 6.71 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark October futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 1942.6, down 1.95% on the day. Hyundai Motor India Ltd tumbled 21.3% in last one year as compared to a 9.83% slide in NIFTY and a 5.26% fall in the Nifty Auto index.

The PE of the stock is 33.2 based on TTM earnings ending June 26.
