Mphasis announced it will extend its collaboration with Social Security Scotland. Under this contract, Mphasis will manage and maintain Social Security Scotland's benefits management platform, which delivers core functions and benefits efficiently and securely for around 2 million citizens across Scotland, strengthening how they access the support they need.

Through this scope of work, Mphasis will help Social Security Scotland provide support and maintenance for the executive agency's core benefits case management platform by maintaining access to citizen benefits that are important to individuals, families and communities across Scotland. Additionally, Mphasis' role will focus on maintaining a stable, resilient and high-quality service for citizens, supporting continuity across a platform central to benefit applications, eligibility decisions and payments.

Social Security Scotland is one of the largest executive agencies of the Scottish Government, responsible for delivering core benefits to people across Scotland efficiently and securely. Its Social Program Management (SPM) case management system plays a critical role in administering a wide range of social security payments from disability to heating support. This agreement helps mitigate risks linked to operational inefficiency and disruption through major incidents.
