Godrej Consumer Products Indonesia inaugurates new manufacturing facility at Kendal SEZ

Godrej Consumer Products Indonesia (GCPI), operating as a subsidiary of Godrej Consumer Products (GCPL), today inaugurated the first phase of its new manufacturing facility in the Kendal Special Economic Zone, part of an IDR (Indonesian Rupiah) 500 billion (approx. Rs 250 crore) investment in Kendal to strengthen the company's manufacturing footprint in Indonesia.

The investment builds on GCPI's presence in Indonesia since 2010. Since then, the business has grown 4.5 times while brands including HIT, Stella, Mitu and NYU reach approximately 1 in 4 Indonesian households.

The first phase has been developed across 2.5 hectares of GCPI's 5.5 hectare site in Kendal and is dedicated to Household Insecticides, strengthening GCPI's manufacturing capabilities to serve the Indonesian market and support exports.
