Godawari Power & Ispat subsidiary receives environment clearance for BESS project

Godawari Power & Ispat announced that the State Expert Appraisal Committee-3 (SEAC-3), Maharashtra, under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MOEF & CC) vide its 299th Minutes of Meeting received by the Godawari New Energy( a wholly owned subsidiary Company of Godawari Power and Ispat) on 05 October 2026 has accorded a fresh environment clearance for construction of Industrial Building by Godawari New Energy for setting up of Battery Energy Storage System of 20 Gwh Capacity at AURIC, Bidkin Industrial Area, District Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra.
