Asian Hotels (North) appoints Sunil Upadhyay as CFO

Asian Hotels (North) announced that its board has approved the appointment of Sunil Upadhyay as chief financial officer (CFO) with effect from 5 October 2026.

Sunil Upadhyay has over 27 years of experience out of which 25 years of experience in the field of Project Finance of a Government of India undertaking under Ministry of Jal Shakti. During the period Upadhyay has provided the services in the field of Accounting, Audit, Sales Tax, VAT & GST, Invoicing and supervised in the financial aspects of the Centre and other fields of India.

Upadhyay has previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of Asian Hotels (North) for a period of approximately two years, from May 29, 2024 to May 31, 2026. Upon his resignation from the position of CFO, he continued his association with the company and has been serving as Chief Manager ? Corporate Affairs till date.

Asian Hotels(North) owns and operates Hyatt Regency Delhi, a five-star deluxe hotel offering accommodation, restaurants, banqueting, conference facilities, spa and leisure amenities.

The company?s consolidated net loss narrowed to Rs 3.54 crore in Q1 FY27 compared with Rs 13.55 crore in Q1 FY26. Revenue from operations jumped 10.44% YoY to Rs 77.63 crore in Q1 FY27.

The scrip declined 4.51% to settle at Rs 332.40 on the BSE.
